The electronic music duo Infected Mushroom has selected Thomas Palivos‘ design as the winner of their Creative Invite! Thomas’s design will become a limited edition lithograph poster and help the Din Mak Records phenomenon promote their upcoming tour, ‘The Unveiling.’ Their shows are known to feature guitars, live drums and an ambitious multimedia backdrop, and we’re sure this year’s tour stops will be just as exceptional.

Infected Mushroom is one of the best-selling groups in the history of their native Israel, and their 1999 debut album The Gathering was an early contributor to the growing popularity of psy-trance. In May they released their eighth album, Army of Mushrooms, which includes a remix of the Foo Fighters‘ “The Pretender.”
Not only does Thomas, who hails from Greece, have an impressive graphic design portfolio, he also specializes in digital retouching and painting. His favorite kinds of artwork to produce include abstract, conceptual, fantasy and science fiction-related art. He draws inspiration from “Everyday’s things and problems,” and we love, love, love his bio quote: “Wake up and start dreaming.”
Thomas will receive three signed copies of his lithograph design with his own personal tag, a signed picture of Infected Mushroom with Thomas’s design in the Infected Mushroom studio, two VIP tickets plus a meet and greet at an Infected Mushroom show, $250 and social media exposure on Infected Mushroom’s Facebook page.
Infected Mushroom’s chosen runner-up is Paul Worster of the United Kingdom! Paul and highest-voted designer Les Hamecons Cibles of France will each receive a Din Mak merchandise package and an Infected Mushroom merchandise package. Both designers will have their submission featured in a gallery on Infected Mushroom’s Facebook page.
Thank you to everyone who submitted! Check back for more upcoming design opportunities with your favorite musical acts.
