Matías De Un Día has been announced the winner of our Creative Invite with Gary Clark Jr. and LP, and the design cheekily integrates the hair of both artists. The two will play a show after Lollapalooza and launched a call looking for a poster design that perfectly reflected the spirit of Chicago and the Lollapalooza festival itself.
Matías met the requirements with flying colors and managed to integrate characteristics of both artists. In addition to his design becoming the official online poster to promote the show, he’ll receive the unique gift of a signed Martin Guitar custom LP ukelele. Pretty spiffy if you ask us!
Matías is an artist from Argentina whose favorite topics are rock, conceptual and label art. Sounds like Gary Clark Jr. and LP made for perfect subjects!
In the meantime, the people have spoken and declared Malgorzata Wol‘s submission their favorite. Malgorzata received the highest number of votes for her poster, a mixed-media product that combines her talent in pencil drawing and digital artwork.
Polish Photoshop illustrator Malgorzata loves the abstract and the conceptual. She’s a graphic designer who also creates with mix-media and multi-media techniques.
Both Matías and Malgorzata will get to attend the Gary Clark Jr. or LP show of their choice in 2012! We hope they share the details with us, and we’re positively stoked for them.
