We placed a call for submissions to pay homage to reggae legend Bob Marley in August, and we’re pleased to announce that we have a winner! Courtney LD of the United States sent a great photo that captured the feeling of the song “One Love” and has been chosen as the winning artist.

We are not born hating one another, it is something we are taught. When we teach love and unity to our children, we will flourish. We must raise our children to know we are all beautiful and deserving of love, respect and kindness. Not only can you be the change, you can instill the change in our youth. It will be then, that mankind will unite as One.

Courtney, a photographer from California, names wildlife, nature and travel as her favorite subjects. Courtney will be the subject of a post on Bob Marley’s official website and Facebook page, and her photograph will be featured on JamBase.com.

Carlos Velasquez won the People’s Choice honor. He will also receive a post on BobMarley.com and Bob’s official Facebook page for his graphite drawing of Bob.
