Our fabulous Talenthouse artists gave P!nk a cool image for her Facebook Timeline, and we know they’re up to the task for making a kick-ass one for Green Day.

That’s right, we’re launching this cool opportunity for your work to be seen by Green Day’s 25 million Facebook followers – and of course, Billie Joe, Tre CoolMike Dirnt and newest member Jason White.

Submit your best graphic artwork as inspired by their music. With a discography that reaches back to their humble beginnings on the Berkeley punk rock scene in the late 1980s, there’s plenty to work with.

There are the landmark sounds from Dookie, the nostalgia of “Good Riddance,” and even their work from the rock opera “American Idiot.”

Green Day is one of those rare bands that have touched multiple generations through their music and various projects.

Teens who came of age in the 1990s identified with hits like “Basket Case,” “When I Come Around” and “Welcome to Paradise,” while later generations recognize “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” and “Wake Me Up When September Ends” in seconds flat when it comes on the radio.

Green Day is on the verge of striking again with the release of three new albums released within a span of only four months. ¡Uno! released on September 24, 2012. ¡Dos! and ¡Tré! are set to trail closely with respective release dates of November 13, 2012 and January 15, 2013.

Among Green Day’s greatest successes are the 15 million copies Dookie sold when released in 1994 and the seven Grammy nominations they received a decade later with the release of American Idiot. The album also produced five hit singles.

The winner of this CI will get to see their artwork displayed as Green Day’s official Facebook Timeline image. They will also receive $500, five signed copies of ¡Uno!, ¡Dos! and ¡Tré!, along with a pair of tickets to a Green Day concert of their choice.
