Hats off to Lyle Lindgren, whose promo video has been selected by Professor Green and ZTE as the winning submission of their Creative Invite! Lyle will receive all kinds of mad props including a 2-day filming experience with Professor Green’s videographer Rufus Exton, £1,000 cash and a Grand X smartphone. But most importantly, his video will be shown at the official ZTE/Professor Green party. He will also attend Raindance Film Festival’s weekend signature Film production course.
Lyle is a cinematographer from Hammersmith, West London who directs music videos and corporate videos. This is not Lyle’s first time creating a video for a music artist – he has directed music videos for artists such as Roc Marciano of the Flipmode Squad. Lyle cites Martin Scorcese, Nicholas Winding Refn, Hype Williams and Park Chan Wook among his many influences.
ZTE, Professor Green and Rufus Exton have declared Rosie Luckhurst and Emily Cecil the runners-up.
Rosie is a director whose lifelong dream is to make inspirational short films. She has over 60,000 views on her Youtube channel, where she has been uploading short films for 3 years.
“I put my thoughts and emotions into something visual so other people can hopefully relate to and take something positive from my work,” Rosie wrote on her Talenthouse profile. Her favorite director is Shane Meadows.
“Using the ZTE we enter the 3 key worlds of entertainment found on the ZTE; gaming, video, music,” Emily explained of her submission.
Valentina Athanasiou is the People’s Choice. Valentina is an artist and graphic designer from London.
Thank you for all of your captivating submissions! We hope to see your work in our next film Creative Invite.
